14. Coercion, Blackmail and Compromised Members

14.1Duty to disclose. A member of the National Council who is subjected to blackmail, extortion, threats, undue pressure, or any attempt by a third party to improperly influence their conduct as a Council member (a "Coercive Act") must disclose that Coercive Act to the remaining members of the National Council as soon as practicable.

14.2Void acts. Any resolution voted on, decision made, or instrument executed by a Council member while subject to a Coercive Act — where that Coercive Act materially influenced the member's conduct — is voidable at the election of the remaining members of the National Council by resolution.

14.3Temporary suspension. Where the National Council has reasonable grounds to believe a member is currently subject to a Coercive Act that may compromise their independent judgment, the remaining members may, by unanimous resolution, temporarily suspend that member's voting rights pending resolution of the matter. A suspended member retains all other rights and obligations.
